JESSICA ROSE COREY, Ph.D. 

Known as JC to many of my friends, colleagues, and students, I'm a native of Cleveland, Ohio. I now reside in North Carolina, where I serve as Director of Undergraduate Studies, Assistant Director of First-Year Writing, Academic Advisor, and Assistant Professor of the Practice at Duke University. In addition to being a teacher and administrator, I'm a writer; researcher; wife and mother, wannabe world traveler; activist; volunteer; and lover of red lipstick, beaches, reality television, shopping excursions, gummy bears, music and theater, trips home, rainy days, old books, to-do lists, and scenic routes.
